Antoinette Datoc received a B.A. in psychology from Yale University and a Professional Certificate in Creative Writing from the College of Continuing and Professional Education at Kennesaw State University.
After making a career of finding whatever job paid the most while supporting her husband through medical school, Antoinette gave birth to their first baby. That was twenty three years ago. Seven cities, three states, a second baby, and a dog later, she founded Just Another Ordinary Day with the hope of becoming just famous enough to land a gig as a celebrity contestant on Dancing with the Stars. In spite of being recognized (from this picture) as “that lady who writes the funny blog” at local deli counters across metro Atlanta, the folks over at Dancing with the Stars continue to pass her over for the likes of Nicole “Snookie” Polizzi and Kate “Plus Eight” Gosselin. Even though Antoinette knows Snookie and Kate 1) have no discernible talent, and 2) she is an infinitely better dancer than either of them, she is not bitter. She still believes there is a spray tan and sequins in her future, but for now she is happy living and blogging about her ordinary life with her her college sweetheart, whom she married nearly 30 years ago. Together they have two grown sons, and that same dog, named Pudge.
